In order to provide users with the most accurate information possible, accounts are required to regulate users who might intentionally post inaccurate or misleading data.
The information is only as relevant as the integrity of the users that are posting trap information. Traps that are well known will receive more feedback and will therefore survive longer than inaccurate data. Users who intentionally add inaccurate data will have their accounts locked.
Every user starts off with a trust rating of 10 stars. As you add traps your rating decreases unless your traps are confirmed by other users. The rating system helps keep system integrity.
