Vroomtrap

The Vroomtrap mobile application connects to the Vroomtrap web service to provide real-time speed trap updates based on a social network of users. The mobile client sends your location to the web service which scans your area in real-time, and then alerts you if there.

Requirements

General

• An account on the www.vroomtrap.com website to enable real-time speed trap information. If you don't have an account, click here to create an account.
• Wi-Fi, Edge, 3G, or EV-DO wireless network connection required to add traps, retrieve trap updates, update map images, and authenticate user account.

iPhone specific

• Vroomtrap works with first generation (iPhone) and second generation (iPhone 3G) iPhones running operating system version 2.0 and higher.

Windows Mobile specific

• Mobile device must have global position system (GPS) tracking capablity.
• Vroomtrap works with windows mobile devices running Windows Mobile operating system version 6.2 and higher.
